Are you interested in sponsoring one of the orphans at Bright Star?  You can choose to participate at the Single Sponsorship level for $10/month or the Full Sponsorship level for $20/month.  Whichever you choose, here's what the program entails:
1. If you choose, you can correspond with your sponsored child through e-mails
or you can send letters through the post office.  Click here for ideas of what to write about.
2. Your child will be closely monitored by John Andirah, Bright Star's school director.
3. If you choose, you can send your child a gift which I'll deliver when I visit the school.  Click here for ideas of what you might send.
4. You can pay month by month or you can pay in advance..

Every cent - 100% - of sponsorship money
will be directed to the sponsored child as follows:

Of the $20 provided for each sponsored child, two dollars and fifty cents ($2.50) is placed in a savings account for your child and will be given to your child upon completion of high school or vocational training; if the child were not to complete the course, that money will be transferred to another child's education costs.
Seven dollars and fifty cents ($7.50) is given to the child to purchase clothing, school supplies, and personal items with guidance from the school director and dorm supervisors.
The remaining ten dollars ($10.00) is used to buy food and pay educational expenses for that child.
Graduates who do not live on site will receive the entire $20.00 each month; graduates who continue to live in Bright Star's dorms will receive $15.00, with $5.00 used for food.
