Thanks to all the
sponsors! You are wonderful! It's difficult for us to understand the joy
a lonely child feels to know someone cares. And YOU are that
someone.
If you are a
sponsor, here's what will happen:
1. You'll get updates about your child's activities
and classwork.
2. You'll receive personal letters from your child.
3. Your child will be closely monitored by Pastor John, Bright Star's
school director,
and Obed and his wife Sarah, the dorm supervisors.
4. You can pay $10 each month or you can pay in advance.
Every cent - 100% - of your $10 sponsorship money will be directed to your
sponsored child as follows:
| One-fourth will be placed in
a savings account for your child and can be withdrawn only upon
completion of high school or vocational training; if the child were
not to complete the course, that money will be transferred to
another child's sponsorship |
| The rest will be
used to purchase clothing, school supplies, and personal items with
guidance from the school director and dorm supervisors. |
