Guidelines for Mission
Groups Traveling to Bright Star School and Orphanage
Visitors and work groups are welcome at Bright Star. It is a
pleasure to show others the work of God's hands and how His
blessings are enabling children to be educated, fed, and sheltered
at Bright Star School.
Certain guidelines have been set for our visitors so
that disruptions to the classes are minimal:
-
Prior arrangements for
tours must be made through the school director, John Andirah. His
e-mail address is brightstaracade@yahoo.com.
-
Prior arrangements for
a work group must be made through and approved by the Bright Star
Foundation president and the school director.
-
Work group members
will work on tasks proposed by the director and board president.
-
Work group members
must pay all personal expenses, daily transport expenses to/from the
school, and security expenses.
-
Work group members
must remain with the group throughout the visit unless other
arrangements have been agreed to by the school director and board
president.
-
Visitors will not be
allowed to visit or tour the school when students are preparing for
and/or taking the national examination (KCSE and KCPE).
