Hellen (17) is in Class 8. She lost her father several years ago and her mother died last year of AIDS. She's sponsored by Cara Hartman.	Jacinta (18) lost her father four years ago. With five children, her mother is unable to educate her. She now lives at Bright Star. Her sponsors are the John and Marty Johnson family.	Jacinta Wangoi is 16 and in Form 2.	Jackline (8) is in Class 3. She was taken off the streets by the Area Chief and is sponsored by the Wagner family.	Jackson (18) has a govt. scholarship to Eastleigh Sec. School and is getting financial assistance from his sponsor, Brianne Boles.
Jackson Sakwa is 16 and in Class 8. He was born out of wedlock and was then abandoned. He's sponsored by Brendan Berry.	Joel (16) lost both parents at a very young age and doesn't remember them. He had been working as a shamba boy, tilling gardens for others for 50 cents a day. Now he's living at Bright Star and is sponsored by Dr. and Mrs. Mapes.	John O.(15) became a member of the Bright Star family during my March visit. He's lost both of his parents and had been living with an alcoholic brother. He's very bright and quick to smile. He's sponsored by the Miller family.	John Troon, Class 11, is one of our artists. His mother abandoned the family many years ago and his father is unable to take care of him. He's sponsored by Linda Newell.	Joyce Nasimiyu lost both parents to AIDS. She is sponsored by Mary Ann McClurg.
